1.3 Research: The Encounter

Objective: Successfully prepare to illustrate the idea of “The Encounter.” 

You may interpret this term any way you wish, in any media that you wish, in any size you wish, and on any surface you wish.

1) Mindmap: Begin by creating a mind map in your sketchbook representing a broad range of ideas and topics related to “encounter.”

2) Research: Add at least 2 pages of research to your sketchbook. Research should include both writing and images. You can learn more about a specific topic, medium, art style, technique, etc
