4.7 Poster: #NoFilters
Objective
Discern idols by analyzing the effect extreme retouching and filters have on children and teens.
1) Photo: Decide on the best way to create a photograph that represents your writing on the issue (and would grab attention in poster form). Collect the supplies you would need and take/edit the photo.
2) Poster: Create a 11×17 inch (2200×3400 px) vertical poster with Photoshop or Adobe Express that includes:
- #NoFilter
- Slogan
- Photo
- Key statistics from your research
A late penalty will be applied to this project as posters will be placed together in the hallways
(10% penalty for each school day late)
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, does not connect their research to their photo, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, could improve the connection to their research, or has improvable graphic design.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps, connects the photo to the research well, and has a strong graphic design.
