Final: Book Cover
Objective
Practice storytelling and design by creating a cover for a favorite book in the art style of your choice.
1) Choose a book you have read.
2) Create a mood board and choose a style.
3) Design 3+ thumbnail ideas and choose your favorite.
4) Create your art on a 3600 x 5400 px document.
5) Add the title and author.
6) Submit the full image and a version with it placed in the template below.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, does not use class time well, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, uses most of class time well, or has a weak attention to detail.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps, uses all of class time well, and designs a pleasing book cover.
