1.5 Photographer Spotlight
Objective
Understand art worlds and research a famous photographer to share with the class.
1) Choose a famous photographer and respond to the appropriate conversation on Teams. First come, first served.
2) Answer the following questions and include 6+ examples of their work in a PowerPoint.
- Short bio (name, nationality, age, background).
- What kind of photography do they specialize in?
- Why do you like this photographer? What makes them famous/unique?
- What common themes are in their photography?
- Describe the composition rules that are followed or broken in the 6 examples you’ve provided.
Heads Up:
Unlike 1.1 About Me Slide Deck, this will be presented to the class.
Presentations receive a late penalty of 10% per class.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps or has room for improvement in their PowerPoint presentation.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps and creates a pleasing PowerPoint with a good presentation.
