Gain comfort with Aperture Priority mode by taking 3 photos of the same subject with different depths of field.
Choose your model and location for the photoshoot. Place a lot of distance between your subject and background. |
Use aperture priority mode to take 3 photos with 3 different depths of field: sharp, semi-blurry, and very blurry. F/1.8, f/5.6, and f/13 are great starting values. All photos must have proper exposure (EV 0) and be in focus. |
Add your photos to your Lightroom library. Color-correct, add presets, etc. to improve their contrast and interest. Crop as needed so that all 3 have the same composition. |
Lightroom: Select your edited photos and click the “Export” button in the bottom left of the library. All exports should have the long edge equal to 2500px. |
Upload your 3 photos into a gallery block on your WordPress.com website. Caption each photo with the exposure stats. Below, describe the objective of the project and how you approached it. |
