
Use filters, adjustment layers, and blending modes to create a new version of a photo in Photoshop.
| Choose a photo you’ve previously taken that would be fun to alter. |
Duplicate the background layer and apply a filter of your choice. Add an adjustment layer of your choice. Choose a blending mode for either of the layers you’ve added. Select the top layer and press SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + E to create a snapshot layer. Add a vignette along with any other adjustments using the Camera RAW filter. |
Photoshop: click on File > Export > Export As and select the JPG format. You’ll also need to export your original, unedited photo. Hide your filter and adjustment layers by clicking on the eye icon in the layers panel. |
