Objective

Create character artwork based on your concept.

Convert your character concept into an illustration or painting.

1) Choose a pose that fits your character prompt. Are you creating a full-body piece or a close-up portrait?

2) Sketch a skeleton in your chosen pose. Triple-check that your proportions are believable.

3) Roughly draw the anatomy and clothing on top of your skeleton.

4) Design a background.

5) Draw the entire image with a finer brush and accurate strokes.

6) Color and render to your taste. You can choose to keep the drawing layer or hide it to create a painting.
