Choose a mythical creature that you’d like to illustrate. It can be a “real” or “made up” mythical creature.

1. Research and create a mood board of your creature and/or creature poses.
2. Create a new 4k document in Photoshop (3840 x 2160px).
3. Loosely draw 6 poses of your mythical creature in 12 minutes. Include depth/perspective as much as possible. No tracing here!
4. Choose your favorite pose, enlarge it, and draw over it with a rough sketch.
5. Draw clean, built-up lines over your rough sketch.
6. Color your drawing with a shape and clipping mask layers.
   1. The lasso tool is your friend here!
   2. Try different textures and layer blending modes.
7. Add an interesting background.
