2.2 Graphite Fantasy Building
Objective
Use 2-point perspective and shading to create a fantasy building following a prompt.
1) Recieve your prompt by rolling 3 D20 dice.
2) Research your prompt and come up with certain characteristics your building will have to help tell a story.
3) Draw your 2-point perspective grid. Block out the basic shape of your building.
4) Trace your building on a new piece of paper, add details, and shade.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, has improper perspective, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, has some incorrect perspective, or a weak attention to detail.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps with correct 2-point perspective and a high attention to detail.
Grandmaster (Extra Credit)
Student expertly uses 3-point perspective to create a building that matches their prompt.
