Auto mode takes care of all of the technical aspects of photography, but the camera’s goals don’t always match the photographer’s intent. 

Use manual mode to create 4 interesting/artistic photos. Each photo should have great composition but meet 1 of the requirements below to make them “bad” in a technical manner. 

1) Poor exposure: very dark (close to black) or very bright (close to white).

2) Camera shake: motion from moving the camera during exposure.

3) Out-of-focus: blurry due to lack of focus (use manual focus).

4) Wrong white-balance: change the white-balance to a different setting to intentionally make the colors off. Don’t forget to change this back when you are done!
