Objective
Stretch our composition mastery by creating photos combining multiple rules at once.
1) Review the composition rules.
- Rule of Thirds
- Leading Lines
- Diagonals
- Framing
- Figure to Ground
- Fill the Frame
- Center Dominant Eye
- Patterns and Repetition
- Symmetry
2) Take 30+ photos in Bellevue while creatively combining 2-4 composition rules at the same time.
3) Edit 4+ of your best examples in Lightroom and add a “Preset” to all. Add to a gallery on your site and caption each with the composition rules included.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, does not use time well, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps or does not use time very well.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps and uses time very well.
