Objective
Improve skills in composition, exposure, lighting, and color by recreating famous photographs and paintings.
Find a famous photo or painting that you would like to recreate. Here are some examples with the actor, John Malkovich.
You will be graded on difficulty AND how similar the exposure, lighting, depth of field, subjects, etc.
This is really fun to do right, so take the time to do so!
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, has unmatching elements, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, has some unmatching elements, or a weak attention to detail.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps with matching elements and a strong attention to details.
