Final: Themed Series
Objective
Create a capstone project of a series of 3-5 photos
Choose a theme that interests you. Read this article for ideas.
You may use the studio, school, or neighborhood.
All photos must be recognizable as part of the series, so plan your ideas, composition, depth of field, and editing accordingly.
Explain your theme in 2-3 sentences in a paragraph block below your gallery.
You will be graded based on the final product as well as your use of class time.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps, has no coherent theme, or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, does not create to full potential, or shows a weak attention to detail.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps meeting their full potential and shows a strong attention to detail.
Divine (Extra Credit)
Student goes above and beyond to create a themed series that shows fantastic ideas, composition, and editing.
