4.5 Photo Roulette
Objective
Combine random elements of subject, setting, emotion, and technique to produce a visually compelling image.
Roll a D20 three times and record the numbers. You get one free-choice number (for a total of four) to choose from the table. Write your prompt on your website. Example: A fearsome shadow on the stage using natural framing. |
| Find your subject and setting. Brainstorm and research how to express the emotion and use the technique. |
| Take 30+ photos with multiple angles and compositions. Make sure they are exposed correctly and in focus. You are attempting to combine all four elements into a great photo! |
| Rate your photos in Lightroom and apply basic lighting and color edits. Open your favorite photo in Photoshop for fine-tuning. |
| Photoshop: click on File > Export > Export As and select the JPG format. All exports should have the long edge equal to 2500px. |
Upload your photo into a gallery block on your WordPress.com website. Below, describe the objective of the project and how you approached it. |
Novice (50%)
