2.5 Psalms in Focus

target
Objective

Express the themes and emotions of a selected Psalm, connecting scripture and faith with a single photo.

Choose a Psalm that resonates with you. Reflect on its message, imagery, or emotional tone. Brainstorm ideas for how you might visualize it through people, locations, props, lighting, or symbols.

Find a YouTube tutorial for an editing technique or style that you’ve never used before and embed it onto your homepage.

Photograph a scene or series that visually communicates the message or emotional atmosphere of your chosen Psalm. Focus on composition, light, and visual symbolism to express spiritual meaning.

Edit your image(s) in Lightroom or Photoshop to enhance the image using your found YouTube tutorial.

Consider the color grading, contrast, and any creative effects that support the Psalm’s message or emotional tone.

Photoshop: click on File > Export > Export As and select the JPG format.
All exports should have the long edge equal to 2500px.

Upload your final photo(s) into a gallery block on your WordPress.com website.
