3.4 UW Scavenger Hunt
Objective
Create as many beautiful photos matching the following prompts as you can individually (while traveling in a group of 3 or more).
– Husky Union Building (HUB)
– The Quad Trees
– Drumheller Fountain
– Mt. Rainier
– Broken Obelisk
– Red Square
– Suzzallo Library (upstairs interior)
– Living animal
– Steam rising
– A flag blowing in the wind
– A person using an umbrella
– Detailed architectural design
– Stranger playing live music
– Stranger reading a book
– Symmetrical shot
– Framed shot
– Center-dominant eye shot
– Figure-to-ground shot
Organize and edit each one in Lightroom.
Caption each photo in your WordPress gallery labelling which photo it is counting as.
Novice (50%)
Student has fewer than 6 qualifying photos or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student has 6-9 qualifying photos or did not use pleasing compositions and editing.
Master (100%)
Student has 10+ qualifying photos with pleasing compositions and editing.
Grandmaster (Extra Credit)
Student wins the scavenger hunt by having the most qualifying photos with the most pleasing compositions and editing.
