Objective
Create environmental perspective using strategic layers.
In a 4K document (3840 x 2160), choose your color palette based on an image you like. Be inspired, but no copying!
Next, use the lasso, paint bucket, and brush tools to create:
- 2+ Foreground Layers
- 2+ Midground Layers
- 1+ Mountain Layer (with simple shading)
- Clouds
- Sun or Moon
- Sky
- Forest (with a custom brush)
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps, creates unpleasing shapes, or has lack of atmospheric perspective.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps with pleasing shapes and atmospheric perspective.
Grandmaster (Extra Credit)
Student expertly uses composition to create depth and uses more than required layers.
