1.3 Thirty in Thirty
Objective
Practice "photographic vision" and capture an experience by shooting 30 photos in 30 minutes.
1) Take 1 photo around campus every 60 seconds for 30 minutes.
Don’t stop to think too much, just try to make something you see all the time a bit more interesting with your camera.
Things to try:
- What unusual angles can I use?
- What normal/mundane thing can I make interesting?
- What composition rules do I already know that I can use?
2) Download your photos in Lightroom.
3) Edit and export your best 9 shots and add to a gallery on your site.
4) Add a paragraph below your gallery explaining the assignment in your own words and how you approached it.
Novice (50%)
Student does not complete all steps or submits work incorrectly.
Apprentice (80%)
Student completes most steps or is missing some photos in their collage.
Master (100%)
Student completes all steps and adds a gallery of 9 edited images to their site.
